Lead Full-Stack AI Platform Engineer
Drive the core architecture of Cehpoint's AI and Portal surfaces using Node.js, Next.js/Vanilla JS, PostgreSQL, and scalable microservices.
Role Overview & Operational Scope
As our Lead Full-Stack Engineer, you will own critical product surfaces across our portal and corporate platforms. You will engineer clean user interfaces, architect resilient Node.js services, and ensure bulletproof database performance.
Key Responsibilities & Production Deliverables
- Architect high-velocity full-stack applications with clean vanilla JavaScript/Next.js and Node.js.
- Design optimized PostgreSQL schemas, indexes, and queries supporting high-throughput transactions.
- Implement real-time WebSocket and Server-Sent Events (SSE) streaming for AI interactions.
- Build and maintain secure JWT authentication, session handling, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Lead code reviews, enforce security best practices, and mentor junior engineers.
Mandatory Foundational Knowledge
- Mastery of core JavaScript/ES6+, DOM APIs, browser performance, and CSS layout algorithms.
- Deep understanding of relational database design, ACID compliance, transactions, and indexing in PostgreSQL.
- Comprehensive knowledge of web security fundamentals: CSRF, XSS, CSP headers, and CORS.
Mandatory Practical Skills & Architecture
- Expertise in Node.js backend development (Express / Fastify) with zero-dependency discipline.
- Demonstrated experience building responsive, accessible, mobile-first web applications.
- Proficiency in Linux server administration, PM2 process management, and Nginx reverse proxy configuration.
